Dave (aka Funky or Gibb) has been around motorsport and vehicles of interest all of his life. His father, Reg, raced trials motorcycles and then hydroplanes when Dave was a child. It seemed inevitable that Dave would follow in his father’s footsteps. Over the years he has acquired and developed essential skills and an extensive knowledge base in fabrication, engineering and race car preparation.
Alongside his engineering work Dave has trained as an actor and can (very) occasionally be seen on TV. He’s a Justice Of The Peace sitting as a Magistrate in East Kent, and also works as an independent family celebrant.
